The Sixers lost a then-record 59 games in a row at one point, and their 9-73 record still stands as the worst ever.

The 2009-10 New Jersey Nets were one of the worst teams in NBA history. They finished with a record of 12-70, which is the second-worst record in NBA history. They also had the worst point differential in NBA history, as they were outscored by 14.8 points per game.
