When Are The NFL Playoff Games This Weekend?
The NFL playoffs are upon us and there are some great games this weekend! Here’s a look at when each game is taking place.
Saturday, January 9
The first NFL playoff game this weekend is on Saturday, January 9. The game is between the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers. The game will start at 4:35 PM ET and will be broadcast on NBC.
4:35 PM ET – AFC Wild Card Game: Buffalo Bills at Houston Texans (ABC/ESPN)
The Buffalo Bills are back in the playoffs for the second consecutive season after finishing 2nd in the AFC East with a 10-6 record. The Bills defeated the New England Patriots in Week 16 to clinch their spot in the postseason. Buffalo will be looking to win their first playoff game since 1995 when they travel to take on the Houston Texans.
The Texans finished 1st in the AFC South with an 11-5 record. Houston clinched their division title with a Week 17 victory over the Tennessee Titans. The Texans are looking to win their first playoff game since 2016 when they host the Bills on Saturday afternoon.
8:15 PM ET – NFC Wild Card Game: Minnesota Vikings at New Orleans Saints (NBC)
The Minnesota Vikings will travel to take on the New Orleans Saints in the NFC Wild Card game this Saturday night. The game is set to kick off at 8:15 PM ET and will be televised on NBC.
This will be a rematch of sorts, as these two teams faced off just three weeks ago in a regular season contest. In that game, it was the Saints who came out on top by a score of 19-14. However, that game was played in Minnesota, so home field advantage could play a big role in this one.
The Saints are coming into this game as the favorites, but the Vikings will no doubt be looking to upset them on their home turf. It should be a great game and one not to be missed!
Sunday, January 10
The first NFL Playoff game this weekend is on Saturday, January 9. The second game is on Sunday, January 10. The third game is on Monday, January 11.
1:05 PM ET – AFC Wild Card Game: Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (CBS)

4:40 PM ET – NFC Wild Card Game: Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys (FOX)
The NFC Wild Card game between the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys will be played on Sunday, January 10 at 4:40 PM ET.
This will be the first time these two teams have met in the playoffs since 2006, when the Seahawks beat the Cowboys 21-20. The Seahawks have won four of the last five meetings between these two teams.
