Ronda Rousey began her MMA career in 2008, winning her first six fights by first-round armbar submission. She gained prominence by becoming the first American woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo (bronze) at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She quickly transitioned to MMA, and in November 2012, Rousey defeated Liz Carmouche to become the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion. She defended her title six times before losing it to Holly Holm in November 2015.

Ronda Rousey joined the UFC in 2012, after a successful career in Judo. She quickly rose to prominence in the organization, winning her first six fights. This included a victory over the then-champion, Holly Holm, in 2015. Rousey’s popularity reached new heights after this win, and she became one of the faces of the UFC.

However, Rousey’s time in the UFC came to an end in 2016, when she was defeated by Amanda Nunes. This marked the end of her MMA career, and she has not fought since.

Ronda Rousey made her WWE debut at the 2018 Royal Rumble, entering at number 30 and lastly eliminating Nikki Bella. This made her the first woman to ever participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match. She officially signed with WWE on January 28, 2018, joining an elite group of athletes who have made the transition from UFC to WWE.

Ronda Rousey has kept a relatively low profile since her last fight in the UFC in 2016. She made a few guest appearances on television, but for the most part, she stayed out of the spotlight. That changed in early 2018 when it was announced that Rousey had signed a contract with WWE.

Rousey made her WWE debut at the Royal Rumble in January of 2018. She entered the ring at number 30 and lasted nearly two minutes before being eliminated by Asuka. Although she was not victorious in her first match, Rousey showed that she could hang with the best in WWE.

Since then, Rousey has appeared on WWE programming sporadically. She had a much-publicized feud with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, which culminated in a match at WrestleMania 34. Rousey also won the Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2018, defeating Alexa Bliss.
