NBA 2K20 servers will shut down permanently on September 6, 2021.

2K has announced that NBA 2K20 servers will be shutting down on September 6, 2021. The decision was made in order to focus on the development of NBA 2K21 and future NBA 2K titles. All online features and services for NBA 2K20 will be discontinued at that time. This includes MyTEAM, MyLEAGUE Online, MyGM Online, The Park, Blacktop, Pro-Am, and MyPLAYER Nation.

We would like to thank all of our fans for their support of NBA 2K20. We hope you have enjoyed your time with the game and we look forward to basketball season starting up again soon.

Prior to the servers shutting down, all online features will be inaccessible starting on June 1, 2021.

NBA 2K20 will be officially taken offline on July 31, 2021. This means that all online features and services will no longer be available. If you have not already done so, you will need to delete your NBA 2K20 save data prior to the servers shutting down in order to avoid any issues. After the servers have shut down, you will still be able to play the game offline with no issue.

All player data will be deleted when the servers shut down.
