The LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is one of the four original members of the SEC, along with Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. The Tigers play their home games on campus at Alex Box Stadium, and are currently coached by Paul Mainieri.

The program has been more selective in recent years. For example, in 2006 only six percent of applicants were admitted to LSU compared to over 60 percent a decade earlier. The team became a national power under Skip Bertman, winning five College World Series titles between 1991 and 2000. They went on to win two more titles under Smoke Laval in 2003 and 2009.
