Previous Games

Review the score
The LSU Tigers fell to the Florida Gators 6-1 in game one of the College World Series Finals.
It was a tough loss for LSU, as they simply couldn’t get anything going offensively. starter Ma’khail Hilliard only lasted 2.1 innings, giving up four runs on six hits.
The bullpen wasn’t much better, as Florida tacked on two more runs off of reliever Zack Hess in the bottom of the ninth.
Overall, it was a disappointing performance from LSU, who will now have to win two games in a row if they want to win the College World Series.
See how the team is doing
The LSU Tigers baseball team represents Louisiana State University in NCAA Division I college baseball. The team participates in the West Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). It is one of the four original members of the SEC, along with Alabama, Auburn, and Florida. The Tigers play their home games on campus at Alex Box Stadium, and are currently coached by Paul Mainieri.
The program has been more selective in recent years. For example, in 2006 only six percent of applicants were admitted to LSU compared to over 60 percent a decade earlier. High school GPA and SAT/ACT scores are important factors considered by admissions officers when making decisions about whether or not to admit a student.
The team became a national power under Skip Bertman, winning five College World Series titles between 1991 and 2000. They went on to win two more titles under Smoke Laval in 2003 and 2009. The team has also appeared in ten SEC Baseball Tournaments, winning the tournament twice, most recently in 2008.
