When Is F1 Esports 2021?
The 2021 F1 Esports season will start later than usual, with the first race taking place on March 2nd. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming season!
Introduction
F1 esports is a competitive gaming series sanctioned by the world-famous motorsport organisation, FIA. The first official F1 esports series was held in 2017, with the role-playing game assetto Corsa being used as the platform for the series. The popularity of the series has grown exponentially since then, with the 2020 season seeing 12 teams and 22 drivers compete for the championship title.
With the 2021 season just around the corner, we thought it would be a good idea to give you all a heads up on when it’s happening and how you can catch all the action!
So, when is F1 esports 2021? The answer is… drum roll please… 14th – 17th January 2021! The series will once again be held on assetto Corsa, and will feature all 22 drivers from the 2020 season competing over 3 events – Bahrain, Vietnam and Monaco.

What is F1 Esports?
F1 Esports is a virtual version of the Formula One racing series, in which professional gamers compete against each other in races that are held on digital versions of real-world tracks. The first F1 Esports race was held in 2017, and the series has grown in popularity ever since.
The 2021 F1 Esports season will follow a similar format to previous seasons, with three main championships: the Pro Series, the Driver’s Championship and the Team’s Championship. The Pro Series will once again be open to all gamers, regardless of their level of experience, while the Driver’s and Team’s championships will be reserved for those who have been signed up by real-world Formula One teams.
As in previous seasons, the 2021 F1 Esports races will be held on digital versions of real-world tracks, using the same software that is used for the official Formula One races. The tracks that will be used for the 2021 season have not yet been announced, but they are likely to include some or all of the following:

-Bahrain International Circuit (Bahrain)
-Baku City Circuit (Azerbaijan)
-Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (Spain)
-Circuit de Monaco (Monaco)

The F1 Esports 2021 Schedule
The F1 Esports 2021 schedule has been revealed, with the series returning on May 12 and running through to November 25.
The 2021 season will again feature 10 rounds, with each round made up of two races. The races will take place on Thursday evenings, with the qualifying sessions taking place on Wednesdays.
The schedule for the 2021 season is as follows:
-May 12- Round 1, Bahrain International Circuit
-May 19- Round 2, Red Bull Ring
-May 26- Round 3, Baku City Circuit
-June 9- Round 4, Montreal’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
-June 16- Round 5, Spielberg’s Red Bull Ring

The F1 Esports 2021 season will kick off in March, with the first race taking place in Bahrain. The schedule has not been announced yet, but we do know that there will be 10 rounds in total. The finale will take place in Abu Dhabi in November.
