F1 Esports is a competitive racing series sanctioned by the world-famous Formula 1 organization. It began in 2017, with the inaugural season featuring digital versions of the then-current crop of F1 cars racing on virtual versions of current F1 tracks. The series has since expanded to include teams and drivers from all over the world, racing both online and offline.

The F1 Esports Pro Draft
The F1 Esports Pro Draft will give successful racers the chance to join an official Formula 1 team and compete in the F1 Esports Pro Series.
The Pro Draft will take place on Monday 30th September, with final invites to be confirmed in early September. The race itself will be held on Saturday 5th October at the Bahrain International Circuit, with qualifying and practice sessions taking place on Friday 4th October.
The top 40 drivers from the time trials held at Silverstone and Hockenheim will be invited to take part in the Pro Draft event. From there, they will be selected by the 10 official F1 teams to compete in the Pro Series.
The F1 Esports Pro Series
The F1 Esports Pro Series is the first official esports series sanctioned by the world-famous motorsport organisation. The inaugural season saw ten teams compete in a range of races held on the official F1 2018 videogame, with Toro Rosso driver Brendon Leigh taking the title.
The second season will again see all ten teams battle it out on the F1 2019 game, with races taking place across a variety of Grand Prix weekends throughout the real-world Formula 1 season. The first race of the season will be held at the Bahrain Grand Prix on 31st March, with subsequent rounds taking place in China, Azerbaijan, Spain, Monaco, Canada, France, Austria, Great Britain, Hungary and Belgium.

The F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series
The F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series is a series of races held on the official F1 2020 video game. The series is contested by some of the world’s best sim racers, who compete for points and prizes.
The series began on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020 with the Australian Grand Prix, and will continue with races in Bahrain, China, Azerbaijan, Spain, Monaco, Canada, France, Austria, Great Britain, Hungary and Belgium. The final race of the season will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 13th.
