On Friday, Venus Williams will play against unseeded Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time (8:00 a.m. EDT) and will be held on one of the tournament’s secondary courts.

Held annually in late August and early September, the US Open is considered the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year. It features 32 men’s and women’s singles draws as well as 16 doubles draws and 8 mixed doubles draws.
