The Neighborhood

The Neighborhood is back and better than ever in NBA 2K23. Once again, players will be able to create their own MyPLAYER and take them through a journey full of challenges, rewards, and upgrades. The game starts with your player being drafted by an NBA team and then attending the Rookie Showcase to prove your worth. From there, players will be placed in different tiers depending on how they performed in the Showcase. There are a total of seven tiers:

-6th Man: The lowest tier containing players who didn’t do well in the Showcase. These players will find it hard to get noticed by teams and will have to put in a lot of work to improve their skills.
-Benchwarmer: Slightly better than 6th Man, these players are still relatively unknown but have more potential to develop into stars.
-Rotation Player: Players in this tier are good enough to be part of an NBA rotation but aren’t stars just yet. They’ll need to put in some work to develop their skills further and become household names.
-Starter: One step away from becoming an All-Star, these players are alreadyvery good but need that extra push to get to the next level.
-All-Star: The best of the best. Players in this tier are considered among the elite and have a chance to win MVP honors if they can maintain their high level of play.
-Superstar: A cut above the rest, these players are true superstars and considered among the best ever to play the game. They have a legitimate chance at being inducted into the Hall of Fame when they retire.
-Legend: The greatest players in NBA history. These players changed the game and will go down as legends long after they retire from basketball
