Where Can I Watch The NBA?

TV Options

If you want to watch NBA basketball games, you have several TV options. You can watch games on ESPN, TNT, or NBA TV. You can also watch games on your local TV station if they are broadcasting the game.

National

There are several ways to watch the NBA nationally. You can watch games on ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. You can also stream games on the NBA League Pass.

Local

Your local options for NBA games will depend on your region and whether you have cable.

If you live in the U.S., TNT and ESPN will show the most games throughout the regular season and the playoffs. TNT will air its popular Thursday night doubleheader, as well as a number of marquee matchups on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. ESPN will televise its weekly Wednesday doubleheader, as well as NBA action on Friday nights.

If you live in Canada, NBA TV Canada will be your best bet for catching every game from start to finish. You can also catch games on TSN and Sportsnet.

League Pass

League Pass is the NBA’s premium subscription service that gives users access to live and on-demand games, as well as other exclusive content. It’s a great option for hard-core fans who want to catch every game, but it’s not cheap — a yearly subscription currently costs $199.99 (or you can pay $39.99 per month).

There are a few different ways to watch League Pass games. The most obvious is to simply go to the League Pass website and sign up for an account. Once you’ve done that, you can watch games on your computer or mobile device via the League Pass app (which is available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone).

If you’re not interested in paying for a League Pass subscription, there are still some ways that you can catch NBA games without spending a dime. One option is to find a bar or restaurant that shows NBA games — many of these places will have the League Pass channel (which is included in most cable packages) so you can catch whatever game is being shown. Another option is to wait until after the game has aired and then watch it on demand via your cable provider’s On Demand service or through the NBA app (assuming you have a valid cable login). Finally, if you don’t mind spoilers, you can always check out highlights of games on YouTube or other video sharing sites.
