NHL Center Ice

NHL Center Ice is a subscription television service that offers live, out-of-market National Hockey League games. It is produced by NHL Network and distributed through cable and satellite television providers.

The service was launched in 1997 as NHL Sunday Night Football, televising a weekly game on Sunday nights during the NHL regular season. The following year, it was renamed NHL Center Ice. In 2012, the name was shortened to simply “Center Ice”.

Center Ice packages cost between $60 and $140 per season, depending on the market team. For U.S. customers, only the upper end of that range applies; Canadian customers pay much less due to lower licensing fees charged by the League.
