Toronto, Canada
The NBA All-Star Weekend is an annual event that takes place during the NBA season. It is a weekend-long event that consists of various basketball-related activities, including the All-Star Game, which is the main event. The All-Star Game is played between two teams of NBA All-Stars, which are selected by fan vote, media vote, and player vote. The game usually takes place on the Sunday before the start of the regular NBA season.
New Orleans, Louisiana
This year, the NBA All-Star game will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana – a city known for its delicious food, lively music scene and rich cultural history. Charlotte, North Carolina
The NBA All-Star Game is an annual exhibition basketball game hosted by the National Basketball Association (NBA). It is the featured event of the NBA All-Star Weekend. The weekend also features a number of other exhibition events, such as talent shows, All-Star Celebrities Game, skills competitions and dunk contests.
The game was first held in 1951 as part of the NBA’s 50th anniversary celebration. Originally intended to be a one-time event, popularity led to it being held annually. Every year from 1951 to 1955 featured a Eastern Conference All-Stars versus Western Conference All-Stars format. From 1956 onwards, teams were selected by popular vote of fans. The East–West format was abandoned in favor of a North America versus the rest of the world format in 1998. The game has been played in various venues throughout North America; recently, it has been hosted alternately by Staples Center in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York City.
This year’s game will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Spectrum Center on February 17, 2019.
Chicago, Illinois
The 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend will be held in Chicago, Illinois. The city last hosted the event in 1988, and will be the third time the Windy City has been home to All-Star Weekend. The game will take place at the United Center on Sunday, February 16th.
Los Angeles, California
This year, the NBA All-Star Weekend will take place in Los Angeles, California! The event will be held at the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers. The festivities will begin on February 15th and end on February 17th.
