NFL Network

The NFL Network will televise the NFL Draft for the 12th consecutive year. This year’s draft will take place Thursday, April 23 – Saturday, April 25 in prime time.

For the first time ever, all seven rounds will air in primetime on NFL Network and FOX.

ABC

The NFL Draft will be televised on ABC for the first time ever in 2020. The three-day event will air on both ABC and ESPN.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell made the announcement Wednesday morning, saying “the draft is one of the most anticipated events every year for football fans around the country, and we are thrilled to partner with ABC and ESPN to showcase it on broadcast television for the first time.”

“The ABC Television Network is the perfect platform to showcase this important event to a massive audience,” said Burke Magnus, ESPN executive vice president, programming and scheduling. “We look forward to working with the NFL to produce a draft that will deliver groundbreaking television coverage and attract a larger audience than ever before.”

ESPN has aired the NFL Draft since 1980, while ABC has been televising NFL games since 1965. This will be the first time that both networks will air the draft together.
