WWE Smackdown aired last night and the results are in. Here’s what happened:

The show opened with a segment featuring Shane McMahon and Braun Strowman. Shane told Braun that he would be facing The Fiend at WWE Fastlane. Braun then made his way to the ring for his match against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Braun won the match after hitting Shinsuke with a Claymore Kick. After the match, Nakamura was attacked by Bobby Lashley.

Elsewhere on the show, Alexa Bliss announced that she will be facing Bayley at WWE Fastlane for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.

The Miz defeated Daniel Bryan in the main event after hitting him with a Skull Crushing Finale. After the match, Miz declared that he is coming for Roman Reigns’ Universal Championship at WWE Fastlane.

WWE Smackdown Results last night were fairly predictable. The show started off with a steel cage match between AJ Styles and Samoa Joe. This was a great way to start the show, as the two superstars put on a clinic for the fans in attendance. There was a lot of back and forth action, and in the end, it was AJ Styles who emerged victorious.

After the match, we saw a backstage segment between WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler. Kofi talked about how he was going to beat Dolph at Extreme Rules, and then went on to say that he would also beat him tonight in their one-on-one match. Dolph responded by saying that Kofi was lucky that he didn’t cash in his Money in the Bank contract earlier, but tonight, he would make sure that Kofi lost his WWE Championship.

The next match on the card was between Roman Reigns and Elias. This match was not much of a contest, as Roman quickly dispatched of Elias with a Superman punch and a spear. After the match, we saw another backstage segment between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe. Joe said that he wanted a piece of Roman at Extreme Rules, and Roman responded by saying that he would be happy to oblige him.

The next match on the card was between WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley and Madison Rayne. Bayley quickly dominated Madison Rayne and emerged victorious after hitting her with a belly-to-belly suplex off the top rope. After the match, we saw an interview with Bayley where she talked about how she wanted to face Sasha Banks at Extreme Rules.

The main event of the evening was a steel cage match between WWE Champion Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler. This was another great match between these two superstars, and in the end, it was Kofi Kingston who emerged victorious after hitting Dolph Ziggler with Trouble in Paradise.

-Randy Orton defeated Jeff Hardy in a singles match. This was a rematch from last week, where Hardy won. Orton got his revenge last night, though, and won the match.
