However, he was never able to play for the Bruins, as he was removed from the team following a shoplifting incident in China just months into his freshman year. The next year, he joined Lonzo on the Los Angeles Lakers’ Summer League squad before signing with the G League’s Oklahoma City Blue. On January 27, 2019, Ball agreed to join Lithuanian professional basketball club Prienai-Birštonas.
