We all know that Bill Belichick has the most Super Bowl wins of any NFL coach, but which other coaches have won multiple championships?
Bill Belichick – New England Patriots
Belichick has coached the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories, most recently in 2018. He also has five other appearances, four losses and two wins with the New York Giants. Belichick’s .766 winning percentage in the playoffs is the best of any head coach in NFL history.
Chuck Noll – Pittsburgh Steelers
With four Super Bowl victories, Chuck Noll is the winningest coach in NFL history. He led the Pittsburgh Steelers to titles in 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979. Noll is one of only three coaches to win four or more Super Bowls, along with Bill Belichick and Joe Gibbs.
Tom Landry – Dallas Cowboys
Tom Landry was the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys from 1960 to 1988, compiling a 270-178-6 record over that span. He led the Cowboys to 20 consecutive winning seasons from 1966 to 1985, including 13 division championships, five Super Bowl appearances, and two Super Bowl titles (1971, 1977).
Don Shula – Miami Dolphins
Don Shula is the winningest coach in NFL history, with 347 career wins. He led the Miami Dolphins to two Super Bowl titles, in 1972 and 1973. Shula is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and his name is inscribed on the Super Bowl trophy.
Joe Gibbs – Washington Redskins
Joe Gibbs has the most Super Bowl wins of any NFL coach, with three. He coached the Washington Redskins to victory in Super Bowls XVII, XXII, and XXVI. Gibbs also has the highest winning percentage of any coach in NFL history, with a career record of 154-94-0 (a .620 winning percentage).
