Contents
It’s a debate that has been around for decades – which NFL team has the most Hall of Fame players? We take a look at the numbers and make our case.
Green Bay Packers
Of the 323 Pro Football Hall of Famers, 30 of them played most of their careers with the Green Bay Packers. The Packers also have the most members in the NFL Hall of Fame of any team with 27.
Curly Lambeau
The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) North division. It is the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and is the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team based in the United States. Home games have been played at Lambeau Field since 1957.
The Packers are the last of the “small town teams” which were common in the NFL during the league’s early days of 1922 and 1923. Founded in 1919 by Earl “Curly” Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun, Green Bay was originally named the Acme Packers, after the canning company Lambeau worked for. The team began play in 1919 as a semi-professional football team and was a charter member of both the National Football League (1920) and American Professional Football Association (1921), joining their forerunners just three years after their creation. The club was managed by Lambeau and Capt. Andrew Lardelli from 1921-1949.
In 1950, following Capt. Lardelli’s death, Lambeau assumed full control of the franchise. During his 31 years with control of the club, he built it into a dynasty, creating one of professional football’s most dominant teams that continues to be successful to this day

He caught at least one touchdown pass in 12 consecutive games, another record that has yet to be broken. And perhaps most remarkably, he caught at least one touchdown pass in 17 straight games, a record that will probably never be broken.
