In the 52 years of the Super Bowl, there have been a total of 52 champions crowned. Of those, only 16 NFL teams have won the big game. The New England Patriots have been the most successful team, winning a total of six times. The Pittsburgh Steelers are second with six wins as well, followed by the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers with five each.
