However once they realize that she is still alive they set out to kill her which in turn makes them enemies of the Cullens. During this time Edward Cullen becomes increasingly distant from Bella Swan due to his fear of harming her further which makes her depressed and suicidal. At the same time she develops a strong friendship with Jacob Black who comforts her during her tough times making her feel better about herself. However once James finds out that Bella is still alive he sets out to kills her which causes mass hysteria among the Cullens and Quileute tribe. In order to protect Bella the Cullens leave Forks but this makes Bella extremely depressed. In order to save her Edward asks Jacob to kiss her which revives her passion for life and they eventually reunite.

It is the third and final installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008’s Twilight and 2009’s New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenslit the film in February 2009. Filming took place in Vancouver, British Columbia from August to October 2009. Eclipse was released worldwide on June 30, 2010 in conventional theaters, as well as IMAX.
