The first Twilight movie has a baseball scene where Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) plays baseball with his family. The second movie, New Moon, does not have a baseball scene. However, the third movie, Eclipse, does have a baseball scene where Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and her friends play baseball.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

The Twilight Saga: New Moon is a 2009 American romantic fantasy film based on Stephenie Meyer’s 2006 novel New Moon. It is the second film in The Twilight Saga film series and was directed by Chris Weitz, while Megan Ellison served as the producer.

The film stars Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, reprising her role from the previous film, and Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen. This time, Bella finds herself dangerously attracted to werewolf Jacob Black (played by Taylor Lautner), playing a pivotal role in the fight between good and evil.

New Moon was released on November 20, 2009 in the United States and grossed over $710 million worldwide.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a 2010 American romantic fantasy film based on Stephenie Meyer’s 2007 novel Eclipse. It is the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008’s Twilight and 2009’s New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenlit the film in February 2009. Directed by David Slade, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Mel Gibson was originally signed on to direct the film, but decided not to commit; Slade was hired to replace him. Filming took place from August to October 2009 near Vancouver.

Eclipse was released worldwide on June 30, 2010 in conventional 2D and IMAX theaters. The film grossed $698 million worldwide; it is the seventh-highest-grossing film of 2010 and the highest-grossing installment of The Twilight Saga film series. Reviews were mixed: some praised the action sequences and visual effects while others criticized the acting performances and its concentrate more on action than romance.

The movie starts with Bella Swan moving back to Forks with her mother Renee after spending several months with her father Charlie in Phoenix, where she missed her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen terribly. After she moves back into her old room at her father’s house and reconnects with some old friends at school – most notably Jacob Black – Bella finds that things are not quite as she left them in Forks. In particular, there seems to be a great deal of tension between the Cullens and another group of vampires known as the Volturi. When Edward finally comes back into Bella’s life, he insists that it is too dangerous for her to be around him – but Bella is not content living without him again. She sets out to find out what exactly is going on between these two groups of vampires – and whether or not there is any danger for her in being caught in the middle.

As Bella attempts to uncover more about this situation, she also has to deal with her continuing feelings for both Edward and Jacob – as well as the fact that both of them seem determined to keep her out of harm’s way, whether she likes it or not!
