It’s the first time in NBA history that two players have been selected as captains through the All-Star Game fan vote, which was conducted online at NBA.com, the NBA App and on social media from Jan. 28-Feb. 15. Players and media members each accounted for 25 percent of the vote, with the fans’ vote counting for 50 percent.

James (4,620,809 votes) and Durant (4,488,870) were the top two vote-getters overall and will draft their teams from the pool of All-Stars on Feb. 18 in Chicago. The All-Star Game will be played on Feb. 20 at United Center.
