Who are the NFL’s best coaches? Many factors go into determining who the best coaches in the NFL are, but a few stand out above the rest.
Tom Brady- New England Patriots
Tom Brady has been the quarterback for the New England Patriots since 2000. He is a six-time Super Bowl champion, four-time Super Bowl MVP, and three-time NFL MVP. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Peyton Manning- Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning is a retired American football quarterback who last played for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He is a two-time Super Bowl champion, and was named the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLI, making him one of only two quarterbacks to achieve this honor more than once. Manning is also notable for being one of only four quarterbacks to have ever won the Super Bowl MVP award more than once. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts as the first overall pick in the 1998 NFL Draft. From 1998 to 2010, he improved the Colts from last place in the AFC East to perennial playoff contenders and eventually AFC champions. He holds many NFL records, including touchdown-to-interception ratio (4.12%), completion percentage (65.3%), passer rating (96.5), 300-yard passing games (93), 4,000-yard passing seasons (14), and single-season passing yards (5,477). A five-time NFL Most Valuable Player and seven-time first-team All Pro, Manning is one of the most decorated players in NFL history.
Drew Brees- New Orleans Saints
Drew Brees is the starting quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. He was born in Austin, Texas, on January 15, 1979. Brees attended Westlake High School in Austin and played football and basketball. He then went on to play college football at Purdue University.
After college, Brees was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played for the Chargers for five seasons before signing with the Saints in 2006.
Brees has been selected to eleven Pro Bowls and has been named the NFL Offensive Player of the Year three times. He was also named Super Bowl MVP in 2010 after leading the Saints to a win over the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.
Aaron Rodgers- Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers is the current commander of the Green Bay Packers. He has played for the team since 2005 and has led them to numerous wins, including one Super Bowl victory. He is widely considered to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and is often compared to other greats such as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.
Ben Roethlisberger- Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger, nicknamed “Big Ben”, is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami University, and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.
