Contents
The NFL regular season is over, and the playoffs are upon us. So, who got the best record in the NFL right now?
The NFL’s Best Record in 2019
As of right now, the team with the best record in the NFL is the New England Patriots. The Patriots have a record of 10-1. The second best team right now is the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have a record of 9-2.
The New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have the best record in the NFL right now. They are 10-1 on the season and have only lost one game, which was to the Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots have some of the best players in the league on their roster, including Tom Brady, Julian Edelman, and Stephon Gilmore.
The New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints are an American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC)South division. The team was founded by John W. Mecom Jr., David Dixon, and the city of New Orleans on November 1, 1966. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.
The name “Saints” is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic faith, as well as to the sports teams of St. Joseph’s College and St. Mary’s College; both Catholic colleges were located near Downtown New Orleans at the time of their founding. The team’s primary colors are old gold and black; their logo is a simplified fleur-de-lis. They played their home games in Tulane Stadium through the 1974 NFL season. The following year, they relocated to the new Louisiana Superdome (now Mercedes-Benz Superdome). For most of their first 20 years, the Saints were barely competitive, only getting to .500 twice. In 1987, they finished 12–3—their first-ever winning season—and qualified for the NFL playoffs for the first time in franchise history; but lost to eventual NFC Champion Minnesota Vikings 14–9 during Wild Card weekend. In 2010, they qualified for Super Bowl XLIV—the franchise’s first Super Bowl appearance—and defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31–17 to win their first championship; this victory made them only the second team since 1984 to win a Super Bowl following a regular season with a 13–3 record (joining Pittsburgh Steelers’ XLIII team). They also joined Pittsburgh as one of four teams ever who have won more than one Lombardi Trophy[5] with multiple wins coming after 2006 because it changed from award for AFL Champions and NFL Champions into NFC Champions and AFC Champions respectively starting 1988 onwards when San Francisco beat Cincinnati 20-16 after both finished 14-2 during strike shortened 1982 NFL Season meaning that now there are six teams with multiple Lombardi victories against NFC Championship game opponents since Green Bay Packers beating Dallas Cowboys 35-31 at AT&T Stadium last year giving them four victories against opponents who won that game while they have two more victories against Los Angeles Rams whom they also beat last year but those came during pre-Super Bowl era against Los Angeles Rams who earlier beat Cleveland Browns 14-10 at Municipal Stadium back in 1951 when both teams seasons started September 30 like this one did and then second victory came during post merger era against Tampa Bay Buccaneers whom they defeated 32-18 at Lambeau Field way back on January 24, 1982 when both teams seasons started September 12 which was almost eight months ago before this season started
The Los Angeles Rams
Although the Rams lost to the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII, they were the best team in the regular season last year with a record of 13-3. This was thanks in part to their strong defense, which was ranked number one in the NFL. They also have a talented offensive line and a good running game, led by running back Todd Gurley.
How the NFL’s Best Record is Determined
Each NFL team plays 16 regular season games. At the end of the regular season, the team with the most wins is said to have the best record. However, if two or more teams have the same record, a tiebreaker system is used to determine which team is considered to have the best record.
The Standings
To figure out who the best team is in the NFL, you have to look at the standings. The standings show how each team has done over the course of the season. They are divided into two parts: the AFC and the NFC. The AFC is made up of the teams in the American Football Conference, and the NFC is made up of the teams in the National Football Conference. Each conference has 16 teams, and each team plays 16 games.
The standings are important because they are used to determine who goes to the playoffs. The playoffs are a single-elimination tournament that takes place after the regular season. The team with the best record in each conference gets a bye in the first round, and the other teams have to play each other. The winner of each game moves on to the next round until there is only one team left in each conference, and those two teams play each other in the Super Bowl.
So, if you want to know who has the best chance of winning the Super Bowl, you have to look at the standings. right now, as of Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season, these are what they look like:
In order to have a chance at making it to
The Tiebreakers
In the event of a tie, the following procedures will be used in the following order to determine which club shall be considered to have finished ahead of the other in the standings:
1. Head-to-Head. If two Clubs are tied, best won-lost-tied percentage in games among those Clubs, and if still tied, best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, and if still tied, a coin toss
2. Division. If two Clubs are tied within a Division, best won-lost-tied percentage in games among those Clubs, and if still tied, best won-lost-tied percentage in intradivision games and if still tied, best net points per game ratio in intradivision games;
a. If there is a tie for first place in two or more divisions like happened for the AFC West and NFC South in 2014 where all 4 teams had the same record at (12-4), then we go to the next tiebreaker which is…
3. Best Won-Lost-Tied Percentage In Common Games – How they faired against opponents they have common with.. So let’s use that 2014 AFC West/NFC South example where all 4 teams had identical records at (12–4). The first thing we do is throw out any intra divisional opponents each team had already played (since they all played each other twice), so we’re left with this remaining schedule:
AFC West Champ Broncos: @49ers, @Cardinals , Chargers , Raiders , Bengals , Patriots , @Bills , @ Chiefs
NFC South Champ Panthers: Vikings , Browns , Buccaneers , Steelers , Ravens , Saints , Falcons
AFC West Runner Up Chargers: Cardinals, Broncos ,”” Raiders “”, 49ers “”, Seahwks “”, Chiefs “”, Dolphins “”, @ 49ers NFC South Runner Up Falcons : Vikings “” Packers “” Bucs Bears Saints Steelers Panthers Cardinals Rams

The Playoffs
The NFL playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. Six teams from each of the league’s two conferences qualify for the playoffs based on regular season records, and a seeding system is used to match up teams in the first round. As usual, the four division winners host the Wild Card games in the first round on Saturday and Sunday January 4-5, 2020. The divisional playoffs are then held on Saturday and Sunday, January 11-12, 2020 with the conference championships held on Sunday, January 19, 2020. The Super Bowl is then played on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
The Super Bowl
The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world. Super Bowl Sunday, the biggest annual sporting event in North America, is the day on which the Super Bowl, the annual championship game of the NFL, is played. It also refers to an unofficial American national holiday held on that day, when fans gather to watch the game, eat food associated with it such as chips and dip, chili, wings, or hamburgers, and drink beer.
