Divisional Playoffs
The NFL playoffs are in full swing and there have been some surprising results. This means that the Rams and Patriots will not be playing in the Super Bowl this year.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams have been eliminated from the NFL playoffs after a disappointing loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Rams offense was unable to get going against a tough Falcons defense, and they ultimately fell by a score of 24-10.
It was a disappointing end to the season for the Rams, who had high hopes of making a deep run in the playoffs. However, they will now have to wait until next year to try and make another run at the Super Bowl.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and was a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed their current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the merger in 1970. The team is valued at over $2 billion. Hunt’s son, Clark, serves as chairman and CEO.
The Chiefs have won three AFL championships, in 1962, 1966, and 1969. They became the second AFL team (after the New York Jets) to defeat an NFL team in an AFL–NFL World Championship Game when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV. The team’s victory on January 11, 1970, remains the club’s last championship game victory and appearance to date, and occurred during broadcast author Tony Verna’s instant replay innovations debut at that year’s game. The Chiefs were also winners of the AFC Championship in 2019 which they hosted at Arrowhead Stadium with a score of 35-3 against the Tennessee Titans, but lost Super Bowl LIV against the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 31-20.
Conference Championships
The NFL Conference Championships are set and will feature the top two seeds in each conference. In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs will take on the Buffalo Bills. In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers will face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams have been eliminated from the NFL playoffs after a disappointing loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. The Rams were unable to get their offense going against the Patriots’ stout defense, and quarterback Tom Brady led New England to a 13-3 victory.
This is the second consecutive year that the Rams have lost in the Super Bowl, and they will now have to regroup and try to make another run at the title next season.
