Who Has Clinched the NFL Playoffs?
The NFL playoffs are here, and we take a look at who has clinched a spot so far.

The NFC

teams that have clinched are the Seahawks, 49ers, Packers, and Saints. There are also 4 teams that are still in the running for a Wild Card berth, which are the Cowboys, Vikings, Eagles, and Rams. The NFC is looking pretty cut and dry at this point, but anything can happen in the NFL playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers

As of Week 16, the Green Bay Packers have clinched the NFC North division title and a spot in the playoffs. The Packers have a record of 10-3, and their most recent win was a 30-16 victory over the Carolina Panthers. NFC North rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, are in second place with a record of 9-4; however, they have not yet clinched a playoff berth. The Vikings can still earn a wild card spot if they win their remaining games and other teams ahead of them lose.

The New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have clinched their spot in the NFL playoffs! They have been one of the top teams in the league all season and their fans are excited to see what they can do in the playoffs. The Saints have a strong offense led by quarterback Drew Brees, as well as a solid defense that has been improving as the season has gone on. With home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, the Saints will be a tough team to beat.

The Seattle Seahawks

As of December 15th, the Seattle Seahawks have clinched the playoffs in the NFC.

The AFC

The race to the NFL playoffs is coming to an end and the AFC has some clear front runners. The New England Patriots have clinched the top spot in the conference, while the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars have also clinched a spot. The AFC is still up for grabs for the final spot, with the Tennessee Titans, Baltimore Ravens, and Los Angeles Chargers all fighting for it.

The Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have clinched a spot in the NFL playoffs as a division winner. They will host a playoff game on Wild Card Weekend.

The Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have clinched the AFC West division title and a playoff berth. They have also clinched a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. The Chiefs will host the AFC Championship Game on January 19, 2020.

The New England Patriots

The New England Patriots have clinched the AFC East division title for the tenth consecutive season. The Patriots have also clinched a first-round bye and home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs.

The Patriots can still earn the top seed in the AFC playoffs if they win their final game of the regular season or if the Baltimore Ravens lose their final game. If the Patriots earn the top seed, they would host either the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills or Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC divisional round.

The Patriots have clinched at least a share of the AFC East title in 17 of their last 18 seasons, and they can clinch sole possession of first place with a win over their final game or a loss by either the Miami Dolphins or New York Jets.
