The favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NFL draft right now is Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The 6-foot-6 passer has lived up to the hype ever since he was a blue-chip recruit, and he’s only gotten better as he’s matured. He has a rocket for an arm and can make all the throws, and he’s also a very good athlete who can extend plays with his feet. In three years as Clemson’s starter, Lawrence has completed 65.8 percent of his passes for 10,098 yards with 90 touchdown passes and 17 interceptions. He’s also rushed for 943 yards and 18 touchdowns.
