In the 2020-21 NBA season, there have been many great three-point shooters. Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, and Kyrie Irving are just a few of the players who have been lighting it up from deep. But who has the best three-point percentage in the NBA?

2017-2018 Playoffs

The 2017-2018 NBA playoffs was a postseason tournament that featured the league’s top eight teams from each conference. The playoffs began on April 14th and ended June 9th with the Golden State Warriors defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals.

In the playoffs, there were many outstanding individual performances, but one player in particular stood out: Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thompson. Thompson set an NBA record by shooting an astounding 45.4% from three-point range. His nearest competitor was Houston Rockets’ small forward Trevor Ariza, who shot 41.7%.

With such a high percentage, it’s no surprise that Thompson led the Warriors to victory in the Finals. He is truly one of the best shooters in the NBA today.

2016-2017 Playoffs

In the 2016-2017 playoffs, Stephen Curry had the best three-point percentage, shooting 47.2%. Klay Thompson was second, shooting 45.4%. Kyrie Irving was third, shooting 41.7%.

2015-2016 Playoffs

Steph Curry once again finds himself atop the leaderboard for three-point percentage, as he did during the 2015-2016 regular season. Curry is shooting an astounding 47.8% from three-point range in the playoffs, which is almost 5% higher than his nearest competitor, Klay Thompson.

Other notable players near the top of the three-point percentage leaders list include LeBron James, Kevin Durant, andPaul George. All four of these players are shooting over 40% from three-point range in the playoffs, which is a testament to their skill as shooters.

It is worth noting that three-point percentages can fluctuate significantly from year to year, so it will be interesting to see if any of these players can sustain their high level of play into next season.
