The players in the 2020 NBA Draft
The 2020 NBA draft is scheduled to be held on November 18, 2020, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The draft lottery took place on August 25, 2020. This page lists all the eligible players and their relevant stats.
Entering the draft
Players may submit a letter of application, which is reviewed by the league’s Undergraduate Advisory Committee. In addition, players who declare for intake are required to attend the NBA Draft Combine. If a player is not selected in the annual draft, he remains eligible to be drafted in future years (until he plays or signs elsewhere professionally or his college class graduates).
Eligibility rules
To be eligible for the draft, a player must:
-Be at least 19 years old during the calendar year of the draft. In terms of international players, they must turn 19 no later than December 31st of the year of the draft and must not turn 25 before December 31st of the year of the draft. For example: A player who turns 19 on January 1st, 2020 will be eligible for selection in 2019; however a player born on December 31st, 1999 will only become eligible for selection in 2020
-Be at least one year removed from high school graduation; and
-Have officially filed with the NBA office as an early-entry candidate no later than 60 days prior to the date of Draft (i.e., by May 8th for international players; and by June 16th for domestic players).

The players in the 2019 NBA Draft
The 2019 NBA draft was held on June 20, 2019, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The draft lottery took place on May 14, 2019. This draft was notable for being the first since 2005 in which no high school players were selected in the first round, and also the first in which four foreign players were taken in the first round. It was also the second year in which all 30 first-round picks were generated by the draft lottery process as a result of changes made following recent tanking seasons: fourteen of the lottery picks were assigned to teams that missed out on playoff spots, while the remaining sixteen were distributed evenly among playoff teams.
