The NBA is a league full of extremely talented players. But, who are the highest-paid players in the league?
LeBron James
As of the 2019-2020 season, LeBron James is the NBA player with the highest salary. He is set to make $37.4 million dollars this year, which is more than double the league average of $7.7 million dollars. James has been in the NBA for 16 seasons and has made nearly $270 million dollars in salary during that time. He is currently signed to a four-year, $153 million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Kevin Durant
As of 2019, Kevin Durant is the highest-paid player in the NBA. Durant signed a four-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets in 2019 worth $164 million. He will also earn an annual salary of $38 million from his endorsement deals with Nike, Beats by Dre, and others.
Russell Westbrook
Russell Westbrook is currently the highest paid NBA player, earning a salary of $35.7 million for the 2019-2020 season. Westbrook’s upcoming 2020-21 season will be his last under his current contract, which will pay him $47 million.
James Harden
Houston Rockets guard James Harden is the NBA’s highest-paid player, earning $38.2 million this season in salary and endorsements. Harden’s total compensation is more than $46 million when factoring in his share of the Rockets’ playoff revenue.
Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant is second on the list at $30.7 million, followed by Chicago Bulls guard Dwyane Wade at $23.2 million. Wade is set to earn an additional $8 million in endorsements this season, making him the third-highest-paid player in the NBA.
Rounding out the top five are Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James ($22.9 million) and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant ($22.8 million).

As of September 30th, 2017, the highest NBA salary belongs to none other than Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors. Curry’s total salary for the 2017-18 season comes out to $34,682,550. This means that he will be earning approximately $11,560,850 per month, or $2,640,200 per week.
