As of September 30th, 2017, the player with the highest paid contract in the NBA is Kevin Durant, who signed a two-year, $54.3 million extension with the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 offseason. Durant’s deal will pay him $25.1 million in salary for the 2017-18 season and $29.2 million for the 2018-19 season. Other players that round out the top five highest paid players in the NBA are:

Steph Curry

Steph Curry signed the richest contract in NBA history in the summer of 2017, inking a five-year, $201 million deal with the Golden State Warriors. The two-time MVP’s annual salary of $40.2 million is the highest in the league, just ahead of teammate Kevin Durant’s $30.7 million.
