Who Has The Highest PPG in the NBA Right Now?
We all know that LeBron James is one of the best players in the NBA, but who has the highest points per game average right now?
Giannis Antetokounmpo
Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently leading the NBA in points per game, with an average of 29.6. This is just ahead of second-place Russell Westbrook, who is averaging 29.5 points per game. Antetokounmpo has been a force to reckon with this season, and it doesn’t look like anyone will be able to catch him in the PPG race.
James Harden
As of right now, the player with the highest points per game average in the NBA is Houston Rockets guard James Harden. Harden is currently averaging 36.3 points per game. Second on the list is Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 31.4 points per game.
Anthony Davis
As of November 19th, 2019, Anthony Davis of the Los Angeles Lakers has the highest PPG in the NBA with 34.8.
Damian Lillard
Currently, the player with the highest points per game average in the NBA is Portland Trail Blazers’ point guard Damian Lillard. As of January 30th, 2020, Lillard is averaging 29.6 points per game.
Joel Embiid
Joel Hans Embiid (/dʒoʊˈɛl ɛmˈbiːd/ joh-EL em-BEED; born March 16, 1994) is a Cameroonian professional basketball player for the Philadelphia 76ers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). After one year of college basketball with the Kansas Jayhawks, he was drafted with the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft by the 76ers. However, a broken navicular bone in his right foot forced him to miss his entire rookie season, as well as significant portions of the subsequent two seasons. He made his professional debut on October 4, 2016 against the Oklahoma City Thunder and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. In 2018–19, he was again limited to 31 games but was selected as an All-Star starter for the first time and won Defensive Player of the Year.
