Did you know that Tom Brady has the highest QBR in NFL history? That’s just one of the many interesting facts about the greatest quarterback of all time.
In this blog post, we’ll take a look at Brady’s incredible career and some of the other quarterbacks who have come close to his level of play.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady has the highest single-season QBR in NFL history. He set the record in 2007 with a QBR of 79.23. He also holds the second-highest single-season QBR, which he set in 2010 with a QBR of 77.44.
Peyton Manning
Peyton Manning, who played for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos, has the highest QBR in NFL history. His career QBR is 86.5. Tom Brady, who has played for the New England Patriots since 2000, is second with a career QBR of 85.9. Drew Brees, who has played for the New Orleans Saints since 2006, is third with a career QBR of 82.7.
Drew Brees
Drew Brees currently holds the record for the highest single-season QBR in NFL history. He achieved a QBR of 84.7 in 2009, while playing for the New Orleans Saints. Since its inception in 2006, Brees has also recorded the second (82.9 in 2011) and third (81.8 in 2008) highest single-season QBRs in NFL history.
Aaron Rodgers
Despite being one of the most prolific passers in NFL history, Aaron Rodgers doesn’t usually show up at the top of the list when it comes to career quarterback rating (QBR). In fact, he ranks just ninth all-time in QBR. However, when you look at single-season QBR, Rodgers stands alone at the top of the list.
In 2011, Rodgers had a QBR of 84.5, which is the highest single-season mark in NFL history. He also holds the second- and third-highest marks on that list, with a QBR of 80.8 in 2012 and 79.9 in 2014. In fact, four of Rodgers’ five highest single-season QBRs have come since 2010, which is a testament to his continued excellence as he enters his mid-30s.
