Tom Brady has the most comeback wins in NFL history. He has led his team to victory from behind in 41 games, including five in the playoffs.
Peyton Manning
Peyton Manning is the NFL’s all-time leader in comeback wins. He’s achieved this feat by leading his team to victory after they’ve been behind by at least 10 points at some point in the game.
Some of Manning’s most famous comebacks have come in the playoffs. In 2003, he led his team to a divisional round victory over the Denver Broncos after being down 17-0 at halftime. And in 2012, he capped off an incredible season by leading the Broncos to a win in the AFC Championship game after they’d fallen behind 24-0 to the New England Patriots.
Manning isn’t the only QB to have a lot of success when it comes to comeback wins, though. Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers are all right up there with him. In fact, Brady has the second most comeback wins in NFL history.
Brett Favre
Brett Favre is a retired professional football player who has the most comeback wins in NFL history. He played quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and Minnesota Vikings. In his career, he had 3,812 completions for 61,655 yards and 464 touchdown passes. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
Drew Brees
Drew Brees has the most comebacks wins in NFL history with 47. He is followed by Peyton Manning with 45 and Tom Brady with 42.
Aaron Rodgers
Since taking over as the Packers’ starting quarterback in 2008, Aaron Rodgers has led 29 fourth-quarter comebacks during the regular season, the most in the NFL over that span.
Rodgers has 16 game-winning drives in the fourth quarter or overtime during that time, tied with Peyton Manning for second-most behind only Tom Brady (24).
During the 2016 season, Rodgers led seven fourth-quarter comebacks, tied with Andrew Luck for the most in a single season since at least 1950.
