Brees has completed 70 percent of his passes or better in eight different seasons, tied with Peyton Manning for the most such seasons in NFL history. He did it again in 2018, completing an NFL-record 74.4 percent of his passes.

Brees has thrown for 5,000 or more yards in a season seven times, the most such seasons in NFL history. He did it again in 2018, becoming the first player in NFL history with seven such seasons.

Touchdowns

Brees has completed 6,586 of his 10,351 pass attempts for 77,416 yards, 587 touchdowns, and 235 interceptions in his 20 NFL seasons. He also has rushed for 1,005 yards and 16 touchdowns. In 2010, he became the first quarterback ever to complete over 70 percent of his passes in a season (71.2). He has completed over 70 percent of his passes in eight of his eleven seasons as a Saint. Brees has thrown for over 5,000 yards in a season seven times – no other quarterback has done so more than four times. He did it again in 2018 to join Peyton Manning as the only quarterbacks to have done it five straight seasons. In 2019, Brees completed 77 percent of his passes (265/342), which was the fourth-best single-season completion percentage in NFL history and set an NFL record for highest completion percentage in a season with at least 340 completions.
