Completions

Completions are the number of times a quarterback successfully passes the ball to a receiver. The receiver must catch the ball and have both feet in bounds for it to be counted as a completion. In order for a forward pass to be legal, the quarterback must release the ball before he crosses the line of scrimmage. If the ball is thrown behind the line of scrimmage, it is considered a lateral and is not counted as a completion.

Touchdowns

Tom Brady has the most touchdown passes in NFL history. Brady has thrown 581 touchdown passes in his career, which is the most of any quarterback in NFL history. He has also thrown for the most yards in NFL history, with 79,416.
