Michael Jordan
Jordan’s most productive preseason came in 1992, when he averaged 31.5 points on 58.7% shooting from the field, 5.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.3 steals in six games. His best scoring output was 40 points against the Atlanta Hawks on October 13, 1992. In that game, Jordan also had nine rebounds, four assists, and two steals in 39 minutes of play. He shot 16-for-29 from the field, 1-for-2 from three-point range, and 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the leading scorer in NBA history, but he also holds the record for the most points scored in preseason games. Abdul-Jabbar scored 5,762 points in exhibition games during his 20-year career, which is nearly 1,000 more than the next closest player, Jerry West.
LeBron James
LeBron James has the most preseason points in NBA history. He has 3,171 points, which is more than 300 points ahead of the second-highest player on the list, Kobe Bryant.
