LeBron James is one of the most polarizing figures in NBA history. He’s a four-time NBA MVP, three-time NBA champion, and three-time NBA Finals MVP. He’s also one of the most tech-savvy athletes in the league. He’s been known to use an iPad during timeouts to study opponents, and he was one of the first players to use a shooting sleeve with his own logo.

LeBron James has been called many things throughout his career. Some people have called him the best player in the world, some have called him a cheater, and some have even called him the greatest of all time. However, one thing that nobody can deny is that LeBron is one of the most prolific players in NBA history when it comes to picking up technical fouls.

In fact, LeBron currently holds the record for the most technical fouls in NBA history with 177. He’s also second on the all-time list for career ejections with 14. And while many people believe that LeBron’s propensity for picking up technicals is due to his temper, there’s actually a much more simple explanation: he’s just really good at basketball.

See, the vast majority of technical fouls are given out for two reasons: either a player commits an act of unsportsmanlike conduct, or a player argues with an official about a call. And since LeBron is one of the best players in the league, he’s going to be involved in more plays and have more opportunities to argue with officials. That’s just a simple fact.

So while it may seem like LeBron gets a lot of technical fouls because he’s hot-headed, the reality is that he just picks up a lot of them because he’s really good at basketball. So while LeBron James might not be the most popular player in the NBA, there’s no denying that he’s one of the smartest.

He also earned a reputation as one of its fiercest competitors, often playing through injuries.

Shaquille O’Neal

Shaquille O’Neal was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the first overall pick in the 1992 NBA draft. He quickly became one of the best players in the league, winning Rookie of the Year honors in 1992-93. O’Neal was named an All-Star eight times during his career, and he was a member of the gold medal-winning U.S. men’s basketball team at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
