The Tennis Grand Slam is one of the most prestigious events in the sport. Here is a list of the players who have won the most Tennis Grand Slams.

Roger Federer

As of 2020, Roger Federer has won the most tennis grand slams with twenty-one. This is three more than his contemporary, Rafael Nadal. Federer has also been ranked number one in the world by the ATP for a record 310 weeks.

Wimbledon

Wimbledon is considered the most prestigious of the tennis grand slams and has been played on the grass courts of London’s All England Club since 1877. Federer has won a record eight singles titles at Wimbledon, including five in a row from 2003-2007. He also won three consecutive titles from 2009-2011 and became the oldest Wimbledon champion at age 35 when he captured his eighth title in 2017.

Australian Open

Roger Federer has won the Australian Open a record six times (2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2017, 2018). He is also the only player to have reached the finals of all four Grand Slam tournaments in a single calendar year three times (2004, 2006 and 2007).

US Open

The US Open is an annual tennis tournament that is held in late August and early September. It is the fourth and final Grand Slam tournament of the year, and is played on outdoor hard courts at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City.

Roger Federer has won the most US Open singles titles of any player, with five victories (2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). He has also won a record 20 Grand Slam singles titles overall.

Rafael Nadal

Rafael Nadal has won the most tennis Grand Slams of all time. Nadal has won a total of 19 Grand Slams, including 12 French Opens, 3 US Opens, 2 Wimbledons, and 1 Australian Open. Nadal is widely considered to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time.

French Open

Rafael Nadal has won the French Open a record twelve times. He first won it as a nineteen-year-old in 2005, and he has since gone on to win it ten more times, including an unprecedented five-year winning streak from 2010 to 2014. Nadal has also won the other three Grand Slam tournaments. He is one of only eight men to have achieved the Career Grand Slam, and he is the only player to have won all four Grand Slams on clay.

US Open

Rafael Nadal has won the US Open twice, in 2010 and 2013.

Novak Djokovic

Djokovic has won seventeen Grand Slam singles titles, five ATP Finals titles, thirty-six ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, fourteen ATP Tour 500 titles, and has held the No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a total of 275 weeks. He is currently ranked No. 2 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He has won numerous awards, including the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year, BBC Overseas Sports Personality of the Year, and the ITF World Champion.

Australian Open

The Australian Open is a tennis tournament held annually over the last fortnight of January at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Australia. The tournament is the first of the four Grand Slam tennis events held each year, preceding the French Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open. It features men’s and women’s singles; men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles; junior’s championships; and wheelchair, legends’, and exhibition events. Prior to 1988 it was played on grass courts, since then two types of hardcourt surfaces have been used at Melbourne Park – green Rebound Ace from 1988 to 2007 and blue Plexicushion from 2008 onwards.

Wimbledon is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, the others being the Australian Open, the French Open and the US Open. Wimbledon is held at the All England Club in Wimbledon, London. It is the oldest tennis tournament in the world and is widely considered to be the most prestigious. It has been held at its current location since 1877 and is played on grass courts.

Djokovic has won Wimbledon three times, in 2011, 2014 and 2015. He has also been a runner-up twice, in 2013 and 2016.

US Open

Djokovic is the defending champion and top seed at the 2020 US Open. He will be looking to win his 18th Grand Slam title and his sixth US Open title.
