This article covers the various networks and channels that have NFL live streaming rights for the 2019-2020 NFL regular season.
ESPN
ESPN first aired NFL live in 1987. It has aired NFL live ever since. ESPN airs NFL live every Sunday and Thursday night during the NFL season. It also airs NFL live on Monday night during the NFL season.
Monday Night Football
On Monday Night Football, ESPN’s award-winning live game telecast, commentator Al Michaels and analysts Cris Collinsworth and Michele Tafoya will provide in-game commentary and analysis. Additionally, a team of reporters will rotate reporting duties from the sidelines.
Play-by-play voice Al Michaels has been with Monday Night Football since it premiered on ABC in 1970. He is one of the most celebrated sportscasters of all time, having called a multitude of high-profile sporting events including eight Super Bowls, 14 World Series and 16 Olympic Games.
Collinsworth joins Michaels in the booth for his 10th season as MNF analyst. The NFL Hall of Famer served as an NBC Sunday Night Football analyst for eight seasons (2009-17) prior to joining MNF. He was part of the broadcast team that won an Emmy for Outstanding Live Sports Special at Super Bowl XLIII.
Michele Tafoya will provide sideline reports for all MNF games. A veteran reporter with more than 25 years of experience in sports broadcasting, Tafoya joined ESPN full time in 2000 and has been part of Monday Night Football since 2015.
NBC
Sunday Night Football
Since 2006, NBC has carried Sunday Night Football, the National Football League’s flagship program. It airs on Sunday nights at 8:20 p.m. Eastern Time in the United States, and includes live game telecasts each week, as well as pre-game and post-game analysis. Al Michaels serves as the play-by-play announcer for Sunday Night Football, with Cris Collinsworth as the color commentator and Michele Tafoya as the sideline reporter.
CBS
CBS Sports provides live coverage of NFL games on Sundays. You can also find live coverage on NFL.com and in the NFL mobile app. CBS Sports is the official broadcaster of the National Football League. The company has been broadcasting NFL games since 1956.
Thursday Night Football
Since 2006, CBS has aired Thursday Night Football games during the NFL season. In recent years, the network has shared broadcasting duties with NFL Network, with each airing five games apiece.
For the 2018 season, CBS will again partner with NFL Network to show all Thursday Night Football games. This will mark the sixth consecutive season that CBS has aired TNF games.
As was the case in 2017, all Thursday Night Football games will also be streamed live on Amazon Prime Video for Prime members in more than 200 countries and territories.
FOX
Fox has the broadcast rights to NFL games, which are some of the most popular and highest-rated programs on television. The network airs live games on Sundays during the NFL regular season, and these games are also available on Fox Sports Go. Fox also broadcasts live Thursday Night Football games, and it will air the Super Bowl in 2020.
NFL on FOX
The National Football League (NFL) is the most popular sports league in the United States, and NFL live games are some of the most watched programming on FOX. NFL on FOX is the brand name of the fox television network’s coverage of professional football, including nationally televised games, as well as additional programs such as NFL Sunday pre-game shows, highlights show, and sports commentary.
NFL Network
NFL Network is an American sports-oriented cable and satellite television network that is owned by the National Football League (NFL) and is part of NFL Media, which also includes NFL.com, NFL Films, NFL Mobile, NFL Now and NFL RedZone.
NFL Total Access
NFL Total Access is a television show that airs on NFL Network. It is the network’s flagship program, providing complete coverage of the NFL, including highlights, interviews, and analysis. The show is hosted by Scott Hanson and features a rotating panel of NFL experts.
