The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world.
The New England Patriots
Bill Belichick
Belichick has been the Patriots’ head coach since 2000, and his lengthy tenure with the team has led to him becoming one of the most successful coaches in NFL history. He has led the Patriots to thirteen AFC East division titles, nine Super Bowl appearances (including five victories), and is one of only two coaches to win three Super Bowls in a four-year span. Belichick is widely considered to be one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. He has led the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl victories, the most of any player in NFL history. He has also been named the Super Bowl MVP a record four times. Brady has been selected to 14 Pro Bowls, and was named the NFL Most Valuable Player in 2007 and 2010.
The Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are one of the most iconic football teams in the NFL. They have a rich history dating back to the early days of the league. The Packers have won more championships than any other team in the NFL, and they have a loyal fan base that extends across the country. The Packers are currently the #1 team in the NFL, and they are looking to defend their title in the upcoming season.
Aaron Rodgers
Few quarterbacks in NFL history have been as successful as Aaron Rodgers. The Packers quarterback has led his team to success time and time again, solidifying his place among the game’s all-time greats.
Rodgers was born and raised in Northern California, and he played his college football at the University of California, Berkeley. He was drafted by the Packers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and he became the team’s starting quarterback in 2008.
Since taking over as the Packers’ starter, Rodgers has been one of the most consistent and successful quarterbacks in the NFL. He has led the Packers to eight straight playoff appearances, including two Super Bowl appearances and one Super Bowl win. He has also been named the NFL’s MVP twice, in 2011 and 2014.
Rodgers is still going strong at age 34, and there is no reason to think that he won’t continue to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL for years to come. He is without a doubt a first-ballot Hall of Famer, and he will go down as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
Mike McCarthy
Mike McCarthy is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He was hired on January 15, 2006, by the Packers. McCarthy is the Packers’ ninth head coach in franchise history.
On November 4, 2007, McCarthy led the Packers to a 13–3 record and an NFC North division title. In the playoffs, the Packers defeated the Seattle Seahawks 42–20 in the NFC Divisional Playoffs and came from behind to defeat the New York Giants 23–20 in overtime in the NFC Championship Game. This was the first time in NFL history that a team had won a playoff game by coming back from a 12-point deficit in overtime. The Packers went on to defeat quarterback Peyton Manning and the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts 31-17 to become Super Bowl XLV champions.
The Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers are an American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Steelers compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) North division. Founded in 1933, the Steelers are the oldest franchise in the AFC. The team plays its home games at Heinz Field on Pittsburgh’s North Side in the North Shore neighborhood, which also hosts the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. The Steelers have won more Super Bowl titles than any other franchise.
Mike Tomlin
In 2007, Mike Tomlin became the 16th head coach in Pittsburgh Steelers’ history. Tomlin is the youngest head coach in the NFL, having been born in 1972. He is also the first African American head coach in franchise history. In his 10 seasons as head coach, Tomlin has led the Steelers to a record of 122-60-1, which includes six division championships, two AFC Championship Game appearances and a victory in Super Bowl XLIII.
Ben Roethlisberger
At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, Roethlisberger is one of the biggest quarterbacks in the NFL. He uses his size to his advantage, extend plays and make throws other quarterbacks can’t. His arm strength is legendary, and he’s capable of making any throw on the field. He also has very good accuracy, especially on deep passes.
