As part of a settlement between Modell, the city of Cleveland, and the other NFL teams, Modell was required to leave the Browns’ history and records in Cleveland for a replacement team and organization which would assume the Browns’ name and colors. The Ravens have qualified for the NFL playoffs eleven times since 2000, with two Super Bowl victories (Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLVII), two AFC Championship titles (2000 and 2012), 15 playoff victories (10th all-time), four AFC North division titles (2003, 2006, 2011, 2018), are currently the No. 6 seed for this year’s playoffs. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.
The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium. An original member of the American Football League (AFL), the Patriots joined the NFL in the 1970 merger of the two leagues. The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Foxboro Stadium from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of the 2002 season.
The Patriots have appeared in ten Super Bowls in total, winning six of them – all under head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. The Packers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) North division. Mecom Jr., David Dixon, and the city of New Orleans on November 1, 1966. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.
The name “Saints” is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic faith, or, more specifically, to the day’s scripture reading from Revelation: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Dixon and Mecom prominent in their support for Local 618 of the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), which represented port workers throughout the Gulf Coast cities of New Orleans, Mobile, Biloxi–Gulfport–Pascagoula, and Pensacola. Despite concerns over bringing a professional sports franchise to a city that had not shown previous interest in housing one, specifically because other attempts to do so in both Baton Rougeand Shreveport had failed miserably just years earlier – including two precursors to what would eventually become today’s Saints: the short-lived Louisiana Vulcans of the World Football League(WFL), which played one season at LSU’s Tiger Stadiumin 1974; as well as Shreveport’s entry intothe ill-fated World League of American Football(WLAF), which was based out of what is now Independence Stadium

Divisional Playoffs
This year’s NFL Divisional Playoffs will feature some great match-ups. In the AFC, we have the top-seeded Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Cleveland Browns. The Chiefs are coming off a bye week, while the Browns are coming off a huge win against the Pittsburgh Steelers. In the NFC, we have the Green Bay Packers taking on the Los Angeles Rams. The Packers are also coming off a bye week, while the Rams are coming off a big win against the Seattle Seahawks.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills
The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Buffalo Bills this Saturday in the divisional playoffs. The game is set to start at 8:15 p.m. EST and will be aired on NBC.
The Ravens are coming off of a wild-card victory against the Tennessee Titans, in which they won 20-13. The Bills defeated the Indianapolis Colts 27-24 in their wild-card matchup.
This will be the first time these two teams have faced off against each other in the playoffs. In their only meeting this season, the Ravens won 24-17.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Los Angeles Rams
The Dallas Cowboys will take on the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional playoffs this weekend. The Cowboys are coming off a bye week, while the Rams defeated the Seattle Seahawks in the wild card round. This will be the first meeting between these two teams this season.
The Cowboys are led by quarterback Dak Prescott, who threw for 3,885 yards and 22 touchdowns this season. Running back Ezekiel Elliott is the team’s leading rusher, with 1,434 yards and six touchdowns. Wide receiver Amari Cooper is the Cowboys’ leading receiver, with 1,005 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Rams are led by quarterback Jared Goff, who threw for 4,688 yards and 32 touchdowns this season. Running back Todd Gurley is the team’s leading rusher, with 1,251 yards and 17 touchdowns. Wide receiver Brandin Cooks is the Rams’ leading receiver, with 1,206 yards and five touchdowns.
Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Houston Texans will host the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional Playoffs this weekend. The Texans are coming off a dramatic Wild Card win over the Buffalo Bills, while the Chiefs had a bye in the first round.
This should be a great matchup between two of the best teams in the AFC. The Texans have one of the best defenses in the league, led by J.J. Watt, while the Chiefs have one of the best offenses, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
It will be interesting to see how these two teams match up against each other. The Texans will need to find a way to stop Mahomes and the Chiefs offense, while the Chiefs will need to find a way to slow down Watt and the Texans defense. Whichever team can do that will likely come out victorious.
New England Patriots vs. Tennessee Titans
On Saturday, the New England Patriots will host the Tennessee Titans in the AFC divisional playoffs. The Patriots are coming off a bye week and a 13-3 regular season. The Titans upset the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC wild card round last week.
The Patriots are led by quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. Brady is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time and has won five Super Bowls. Belichick is considered one of the best coaches in NFL history.
The Titans are led by quarterback Marcus Mariota and head coach Mike Mularkey. Mariota had a great game last week against the Ravens, but he will have a tough task this week against the Patriots defense. Mularkey is in his first year as head coach of the Titans, but he has coached in the NFL for over 20 years.
The Patriots are heavy favorites to win this game, but the Titans have shown they can compete with anyone. This should be a great game on Saturday night.
Conference Championships
The four teams that remain in the NFL playoffs are the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Kansas City Chiefs. These teams will compete in the conference championships this weekend, with a spot in the Super Bowl on the line.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs
The Baltimore Ravens will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game this weekend. The winner of this game will advance to the Super Bowl to take on the winner of the NFC Championship game between the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers.
The Ravens are coming into this game as the number one seed in the AFC, while the Chiefs are coming in as the number two seed. This will be a rematch of a regular season game that was won by the Ravens, 33-28.
Both teams have high powered offenses, led by their respective quarterbacks, Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes. However, it will be interesting to see how each team’s defense fares against these dynamic signal callers.
whoever emerges victorious from this matchup will have their work cut out for them in the Super Bowl, as they will most likely be facing either the Packers or 49ers, who are both coming into their respective conference championship games with a lot of momentum.
Los Angeles Rams vs. New Orleans Saints
It’s safe to say that the Los Angeles Rams and the New Orleans Saints will be playing for more than just a conference championship when they face off this Sunday. These two teams have been among the best in the NFL all season, and their matchup in the NFC Championship game is sure to be a hard-fought battle.
The Rams come into the game with a 13-3 record, good for second best in the NFC. They’re led by quarterback Jared Goff, who has had a breakout year, and running back Todd Gurley, who is one of the best at his position in the league. On defense, they’re led by All-Pro defensive tackle Aaron Donald, who is a force to be reckoned with.
The Saints, on the other hand, come into the game with a 12-4 record, good for third best in the NFC. They’re led by quarterback Drew Brees, who is having another great year, and running back Alvin Kamara, who is one of the most versatile players in the league. On defense, they’re led by linebacker Demario Davis, who is having a great season.
This should be a great game between two evenly matched teams. It’s hard to say who will come out on top, but it’s sure to be a close one.
Super Bowl LIII
The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will go head-to-head in the 53rd Super Bowl on Sunday, February 3. The game will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This will be the third time that the Patriots have played in the Super Bowl in the last four years.
Baltimore Ravens vs. New Orleans Saints
The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl this year. This will be the first time these two teams have ever faced off in the big game. The Ravens are coming in as the favorite, but the Saints are not to be taken lightly. This should be a great game for all football fans to enjoy.
