We’re just a few weeks away from the NFL playoffs, and the race is heating up to see who will be crowned champion. Who do you think is going to make it to the big game?

The NFL playoffs are set and there are some great match-ups. In the AFC, the New England Patriots will take on the Los Angeles Chargers. This should be a great game between two evenly matched teams. In the NFC, the New Orleans Saints will take on the Philadelphia Eagles.
The teams that have already clinched a playoff berth
As the NFL regular season enters its final weeks, a number of teams have already clinched a playoff berth. The New England Patriots and the New Orleans Saints have both clinched a spot in the AFC and NFC playoffs, respectively. The Los Angeles Rams are also in the NFC playoffs, while the Kansas City Chiefs have clinched a spot in the AFC playoffs.

As we enter the final week of the NFL regular season, there are still a few playoff spots up for grabs. Here is a look at the teams that have already clinched a playoff berth, as well as those that are still fighting for their spot in the postseason.
AFC:
-New England Patriots (clinched first-round bye)

-Jacksonville Jaguars (clinched AFC South)

The teams that are still in the running for a playoff berth
The National Football League (NFL) playoffs are a single-elimination tournament held after the regular season to determine the NFL champion. Six teams from each of the league’s two conferences qualify for the playoffs. Bracketing is used to avoid situations in which two division rivals could play each other in consecutive rounds.
In the first round, dubbed the wild-card playoffs or wild-card weekend, the third-seeded division winner hosts the sixth seed wild card, and the fourth seed hosts the fifth. The 1 and 2 seeds from each conference then receive a bye in the first round.
In the second round, dubbed the divisional playoffs,
the number 1 seed hosts the worst surviving seed from the first round (seed 4, 5 or 6), while
the number 2 seed will play another team coming out of the first round (either seed 3, 4 or 5).
The two surviving teams from each conference’s divisional playoff games then meet in Conference Championship games, hosted by either the higher or lower remaining seed depending on NFL conference rules.
Finally, The winners of each conference’s championship game meet in the Super Bowl to decide who is crowned Champion for that NFL season.
