With the NBA season well underway, we take a look at who is leading the league in scoring. So far, James Harden and Giannis Antetokounmpo are out in front, but there are a number of other players not far behind. Who will take home the scoring title?

James Harden
Houston Rockets shooting guard James Harden is currently leading the NBA in scoring, averaging 36.4 points per game. Harden is also averaging 7.5 assists and 6.4 rebounds per game.
LeBron James
As of December 19th, 2019, LeBron James is leading the NBA in scoring with an average of 25.2 points per game. This is slightly down from his career average of 27.1 points per game, but he is still one of the most prolific scorers in the league. In second place is Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors, who is averaging 23.5 points per game.
Damian Lillard
As of January 2020, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is leading the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.5 points per game. Lillard is followed closely by Houston Rockets guard James Harden, who is averaging 29.4 points per game. Other leading scorers include Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (29.2 ppg), Dallas Mavericks forward Luka Doncic (28.8 ppg), and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love (17.2 ppg).
