New England Patriots
The New England Patriots have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL for years, and they’re looking to add another Super Bowl title to their already impressive resume. Quarterback Tom Brady is still playing at an elite level and he has a talented group of receivers to throw to, including All-Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski. The Patriots also have a strong defense, led by defensive end Trey Flowers, who had 7 sacks during the regular season.
Los Angeles Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are a young and exciting team that many believe could be the next dynasty in the NFL. Led by quarterback Jared Goff and running back Todd Gurley, the Rams offense was one of the best in the league during the regular season. On defense, the Rams are led by All-Pro cornerback Marcus Peters, who had 8 interceptions during the regular season.
New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints have been one of the best teams in the NFL over the past few years, but they’ve always seemed to come up just short when it matters most. This year could be different though, as they have one of the best offenses in the league, led by quarterback Drew Brees and running back Alvin Kamara. The Saints also have a strong defense that features defensive end Cameron Jordan, who had 12 sacks during the regular season.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are another team that many believe could be on their way to becoming a dynasty. Led by second-year quarterback Carson Wentz, the Eagles have an explosive offense that also features running back Jay Ajayi and wide receiver Alshon Jeffery. On defense, they have one of the best front fours in football, led by defensive end Brandon Graham, who had 9 sacks during the regular season.
The NFC
All four of the NFC teams that entered the NFL playoffs have now been eliminated. The Green Bay Packers were the first to go, losing to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card game. The 49ers then went on to lose to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Divisional game. The Seahawks then lost to the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship game.
The teams
The National Football Conference (NFC) is one of the two conferences of the National Football League (NFL), the highest professional level of American football in the United States. This conference and its counterpart, the American Football Conference (AFC), currently contain 16 teams each, making up the 32 teams of the NFL.
The players
There are four teams left in the NFL playoffs, and they’re all great. The NFC is represented by the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and Philadelphia Eagles. Let’s take a look at the players on each team that could make a difference in the conference championship games.
For the Rams, their star player is undoubtedlyAaron Donald. He’s a defensive tackle that had 20.5 sacks this season, which is an NFL record for a defensive tackle. He’s also a 6-time Pro Bowler and a 2-time AP Defensive Player of the Year. In other words, he’s really good at football.
Then we have the Saints, who are led by their quarterback Drew Brees. He’s a future Hall of Famer that completed 74 percent of his passes this season for 3,992 yards and 32 touchdowns. He also threw just 5 interceptions. Oh, and he’s also 41 years old.
The Bears are led by their phenomenal defense, which is spearheaded by Khalil Mack. Mack is a linebacker that was traded to the Bears before the season started from the Oakland Raiders. And he was worth every penny of what they gave up for him as he had 12 sacks and forced 6 fumbles this season. He was also named First-team All-Pro for the fourth time in his career.
Finally, we have the Eagles who are led by quarterback Nick Foles. Foles took over for Carson Wentz midway through the season and has been fantastic since taking over as starter. In fact, he’s thrown for 971 yards and 6 touchdowns in just two starts this postseason.
The AFC
The AFC is the American Football Conference. The AFC playoff teams are the New England Patriots, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFC is the National Football Conference. The NFC playoff teams are the Los Angeles Rams, the New Orleans Saints, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
