Who Is Left In The Playoffs Nfl?
Contents
The NFL playoffs are in full swing, and there are only a few teams left fighting for the chance to go to the Super Bowl. Who is left in the playoffs and who do you think will win it all?
AFC
The AFC playoff picture is wide open heading into the final week of the season. The New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Kansas City Chiefs have all clinched a playoff spot, but the seedings are still up for grabs. The Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens are fighting for the final spot in the AFC.
Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens are a professional American football team based in Baltimore, Maryland. The Ravens compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. The team plays its home games at M&T Bank Stadium and is headquartered in Owings Mills.
The Ravens were established in 1996, when Art Modell, who was then the owner of the Cleveland Browns, announced plans to relocate the franchise to Baltimore. As part of a settlement between Modell and the city of Cleveland, the Browns’ intellectual property—including team name, logos, training facility, and history—were left in trust for the community and were not included in the franchise relocation package. The Ravens have qualified for the NFL playoffs eleven times since 2000, with two Super Bowl victories (Super Bowl XXXV and Super Bowl XLVII), two AFC Championship titles (2000 and 2012), 15 playoff victories (10th all-time), four AFC North division titles (2003, 2006, 2011, 2018), five seasons with at least 10 wins (2003–2007), and are currently tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for second place for most playoff appearances in an AFC team’s history. Since 2008, John Harbaugh has served as head coach of the Ravens; he is one of only three head coaches on an active NFL roster with over 10 years of experience coaching his current team; Chuck Pagano has 11 seasons with Indianapolis Colts while Bill Belichick has 21 seasons with New England Patriots.
The Ravens organization was led by general manager Ozzie Newsome from 1996 until his retirement following the 2018 season; he was succeeded by Eric DeCosta.
Buffalo Bills
The Bills were the only team to make the playoffs with a losing record (9-7), but they have played their best football of the season over the past month. They have a talented young quarterback in Josh Allen, who has improved greatly in his second season. The Bills also have one of the best defenses in the NFL, led by defensive lineman Ed Oliver and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.
Kansas City Chiefs
The 2019 Kansas City Chiefs season is the franchise’s 50th season in the National Football League, their 60th overall and their second under head coach Andy Reid. The Chiefs improved upon their 12–4 record from 2018, winning 14 games for the first time since 2003 and earning the top seed in the AFC playoffs. They defeated the sixth-seeded Houston Texans 51–31 in the Divisional Round and then defeated the second-seeded Tennessee Titans 35-24 in the AFC Championship game. They will face the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.

They compete in the National Football League as a member of the league’s National Football Conference West division. The49ers will be looking to return to the Super Bowl for the first time since their dynasty days of the early ’90s when they won five Lombardi Trophies.
