Who Is Running WWE Raw?
The current WWE Raw is being run by none other than Vince McMahon himself. This is due to the recent Superstar Shake-Up that saw many top stars moving to SmackDown Live.
Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon is an American businesswoman and professional wrestler currently serving as the chief brand officer (CBO) of WWE. She is the daughter of WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and the sister of WWE executive and part-time professional wrestler Shane McMahon. She has appeared in numerous television shows, movies, and video games.
Stephanie’s role in WWE
Stephanie McMahon is an American businesswoman, professional wrestling promoter, occasional professional wrestler, and former model. She is the chief brand officer (CBO) of WWE and appears as an on-screen authority figure and occasional wrestler on both the Raw and SmackDown brands. McMahon began appearing regularly on-screen in 1999 as a part of a storyline with The Undertaker. After a brief on-screen relationship with Test, she was engaged to Triple H—whom she married both on-screen and in real life—which resulted in McMahon becoming pregnant with their first child, Shane McMahon is also Stephanie’s father
In 2000, she was a heel favoring the n Wo faction led by Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Three years later, she turned face when she began siding with her husband in his feud with Vince McMahon’s original stable, D-Generation X. She would intermittently make appearances and be featured as a guest commentator until mid-2002. After nearly seven years away from television, McMahon reappeared on Raw in August 2009 as the hostess of WWE Raw Roulette.She later returned as a recurring televised member of the Raw roster until February 2010 when she took another hiatus due to pregnancy with her second child. During this three-year absence, McMahon was not referenced on WWE television and her name was removed from the opening credits of WWE shows; however, WWE released several current pictures of her while promoting events such as WrestleMania XXVII in 2011.
Stephanie’s experience in running WWE
Stephanie McMahon has been with WWE for over 20 years, starting as an intern in the late 1990s. She’s held a number of different positions within the company, including heading up WWE’s Creative Team and on-air personality. Triple H
Under the guidance of Stephanie McMahon, Raw has seen a lot of new changes lately. New General Manager Kurt Angle has made some controversial decisions, but the show has been on an upswing. Triple H is currently running WWE Raw.
Triple H’s role in WWE
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has handpicked Triple H to be the new WWE Executive Director of RAW, a position that was left vacant after the recent firing of former executive Paul Heyman.
As the new Executive Director, Triple H will be responsible for the creative direction of WWE’s flagship television program, Monday Night RAW. He will report directly to McMahon and will have final say on all creative decisions for the show.
This is a huge promotion for Triple H, who has been with WWE for over 20 years. He is currently one of the company’s top executives and is widely seen as a future CEO of WWE.
