Who is the Best NBA Player in 2022?
We’re looking at the top NBA players for the 2022 season and trying to figure out who is the best. We’ll take a look at their stats, their teams, and their impact on the league to try and make a decision.
Zion Williamson
2022 is going to be Zion Williamson’s breakout year. The kid is insanely talented and has all the tools to be a superstar in this league. He’s going to be the best player in the NBA, and it’s not even close.
LaMelo Ball
LaMelo Ball is expected to be one of the best NBA players in 2022. He was the number one pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, and he has shown a lot of potential in his young career. Ball is a 6’7″ point guard who can score, rebound, and pass the ball. He is an excellent shooter, and he has the ability to create his own shot. Ball is also a good defender, and he has the potential to be a star in the NBA.
RJ Barrett
At just 19 years old, RJ Barrett is already one of the best players in the NBA. The third overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Barrett is a 6’7” shooting guard with a smooth jump shot and superb athleticism. In his rookie season, Barrett averaged 22.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 45.4% from the field and 33.9% from three-point range. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team and finished second in Rookie of the Year voting.
Barrett has all of the tools to be a superstar in the NBA. He has great size for his position, he’s an excellent shooter, and he’s incredibly athletic. He can score from anywhere on the court and he’s also a good playmaker for his teammates. In addition, Barrett is a hard worker who continues to improve every year.
There are few players in the NBA with as much upside as RJ Barrett. He has all of the skills to be a perennial All-Star and he could one day be considered the best player in the league.
Anthony Edwards
Anthony Edwards is an incredible young player who has the potential to be one of the best NBA players in 2022. He is a 6’5″ shooting guard/small forward from Atlanta, Georgia who played college basketball for the University of Georgia. He was drafted first overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2020 NBA Draft.
Edwards is an elite scorer, averaging 19.3 points per game on 45.2% shooting from the field and 34.8% from three-point range during his rookie season. He is also a good rebounder and playmaker, averaging 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. Edwards has the potential to be a great all-around player and one of the best scorers in the NBA. He will likely continue to improve as he gains more experience and becomes more familiar with the NBA game.
Cole Anthony
Cole Anthony is an American professional basketball player for the Orlando Magic of the NBA. He played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Cole was a McDonald’s All-American as a high school senior in 2019. He was also named Naismith Prep Player of the Year and Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2020.
