Who Is The Best WR In The NFL 2020?

The 2020 NFL season is underway and we’re already seeing some great performances from wide receivers around the league. But who is the best WR in the NFL so far?

Who Is The Best WR In The NFL 2020?

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He has great speed, good hands, and is a great route runner.

Julio Jones

Julio Jones is widely regarded as the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has been selected to six Pro Bowls, and was named a first-team All-Pro in 2015, 2016, 2018, and 2019. Jones has led the league in receiving yards twice, and he is currently the NFL’s all-time leader in receiving yards per game.

DeAndre Hopkins

In 2020, DeAndre Hopkins was the best wide receiver in the NFL. He was selected to the Pro Bowl and was named First-team All-Pro. He led the league in receiving yards and touchdowns. He also had the most catches of any receiver in the NFL.

Odell Beckham Jr.

OBJ was the best receiver in the NFL in 2020. He had 1,449 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns.

Keenan Allen

Keenan Allen may not be the best receiver in the NFL statistically this season, but he is without doubt the most important to his team, the Los Angeles Chargers. Keenan Allen has had at least 10 catches in five of his last six games, and at least 100 yards receiving in four of them. In those six games, he has been targeted an astonishing 96 times, catching 74 of those for 906 yards and six touchdowns. He has also rushed seven times for 46 yards and a score.

Mike Evans

Mike Evans has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and he cemented that status with yet another strong season in 2019.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star hauled in 86 receptions for 1,157 yards and eight touchdowns, setting career highs in both catches and yards. He also had a career-best 10 catches for 181 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Evans has now racked up 6,103 receiving yards and 47 touchdowns in his six-year NFL career. He has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in five of those six seasons, and he has been selected to the Pro Bowl in four straight years.

With Evans leading the way, the Buccaneers boast one of the best passing attacks in the NFL. They also have a talented young quarterback in Jameis Winston, which means Evans should continue to be one of the league’s top wideouts for years to come.

Adam Thielen

Adam Thielen is widely considered to be the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has consistently put up huge numbers over the past few seasons, and he shows no signs of slowing down. He is a big playmaker who can score touchdowns from anywhere on the field, and he has the rare ability to make big catches in traffic. Thielen is a complete receiver who can do it all, and he is the clear-cut number one receiver in the NFL today.

A.J. Green

A.J. Green is widely considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft, and has been selected to six Pro Bowls. He is the Bengals’ all-time leader in career receptions and receiving yards.

Amari Cooper

Amari Cooper is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Alabama, where he was the Biletnikoff Award winner as the nation’s top receiver in 2014.

Cooper has been selected to two Pro Bowls in his career. As a rookie, he led the NFL in catches and receiving yards. In 2016, he was named a Second-team All-Pro. In 2018, he was traded to the Cowboys from the Oakland Raiders.

Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs had a breakout season in 2019, leading the league in catches and yards while also scoring nine touchdowns. That production made him the fifth-highest scoring receiver in fantasy football, and he’s currently being drafted as the WR10 in standard formats.

Diggs is entering his sixth NFL season, and while he’s shown flashes of brilliance throughout his career, 2019 was really the first time he put it all together. Can he sustain that level of production in 2020? It’s certainly possible. He’s still just 26 years old and is entering his prime. He also has a very good quarterback throwing him the ball in Kirk Cousins, and the Vikings should once again have one of the better offenses in the league.

The biggest concern with Diggs is that he has a bit of a checkered injury history. He’s missed at least three games in three of his five NFL seasons, including four games last year. When he’s on the field, though, he’s one of the best receivers in fantasy football. If you’re drafting him, just be sure to grab a solid backup in case he goes down with an injury at some point during the season.
