The NBA season is just getting underway, but there are already some clear frontrunners for the championship title. Who is your favorite to win it all?
The Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers are the favorite to win the NBA Championship. They have the best record in the league and are led by two of the best players in the world. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both incredible players that can take over a game. The Lakers also have a great supporting cast.
Their Record
The Los Angeles Lakers have the best record in the NBA at 49-14. They have won five straight games and are on a 10-game winning streak. The Lakers are led by LeBron James, who is averaging 25.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game. Other key players for the Lakers include Anthony Davis, who is averaging 26.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game, and Kyle Kuzma, who is averaging 19.1 points per game. The Lakers are currently 2nd in the Western Conference, behind only the Milwaukee Bucks.
Their Roster
The Los Angeles Lakers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles. The Lakers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a member of the league’s Western Conference in the Pacific Division. The Lakers play their home games at Staples Center, an arena shared with the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers, the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association, and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League. The Lakers are one of the most successful teams in the history of the NBA, having won 16 NBA championships, their last being in 2010.
The Milwaukee Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are the favorites to win the NBA Championship this year. They have the best record in the league, and they have been playing very well lately. They have a lot of talented players, and they have a great coach. I think they have a good chance to win it all.
Their Record
The Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA at 53-12. They are one game ahead of the second-place Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks have been led by MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is averaging 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game. Other key players for the Bucks include Khris Middleton (19.1 points per game), Eric Bledsoe (17.7 points per game) and Brook Lopez (11.3 points per game).

The Bucks will be a tough team to beat in the playoffs and they will be a favorite to win the NBA Championship.
Their Roster
The Milwaukee Bucks are an American professional basketball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Bucks compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team was founded in 1968 as an expansion team, and play at the Fiserv Forum. Former U.S. Senator Herb Kohl was the long-time owner of the team, but on April 16, 2014, a group led by billionaire hedge fund managers Wesley Edens and Marc Lasry agreed to purchase a majority interest in the franchise from Kohl, a sale which was approved by the NBA on May 15. The ownership group filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on July 16, 2008.
The sale of the Bucks to Edens and Lasry closed on April 16, 2014.
On April 27, 2015, Forbes valued the Bucks at $405 million. In December 2016 Kahle Burns became one of the 10% owners of thd bucks when his investment firm Crescendo Equity Partners paid $100 million for their stake inARS BUCKS LLC
The Los Angeles Clippers
Their Record
The Los Angeles Clippers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles. The Clippers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Western Conference Pacific Division. The Clippers play their home games at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, an arena they share with fellow NBA team the Los Angeles Lakers, as well as the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The franchise was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, one of three expansion teams to join the NBA that year. The Braves moved from Buffalo, New York to San Diego, California in 1978 and became known as the San Diego Clippers. In 1984, The Clippers moved to Los Angeles. Through much of its history, the franchise failed to see significant regular season or playoff success. The Clippers were frequently seen as an example of a perennial loser in American professional sports, drawing unfavorable comparisons to their geographically nearby rivals, such as the Lakers and those in other cities such as the New York Knicks; overall, between 1971 and 2013–14, they won more than 50% of their games only twice (in 1974–75 and 2011–12) while registering just 15 winning seasons out of 44 (missing post-season play entirely nine times). Through much of its history considered a perennial laughing stock due to having made poor front office decisions and trades over time that led it to consistently record among league leaders for attendance with poor records on product on court resulting in dwindling fan interest over time forcing multiple ownership changes prior largely being saved from extinction after being purchased by real estate mogul Donald Sterling through its turbulent early years marked by poor management which led it failing to put competitive squads on court leading it rarely qualifying for playoffs if qualifying for them all at times fielding draft busts mixed with players considered past their primes along with head coaches either being inexperienced or considered incompetent most recently being purchased byMicrosoft co-founder Steve Ballmer in 2014 whom has increased payroll alongside bringing key players off bench whom have been very instrumental to this squad success overhauling culture drastically that has helped spur this once moribund franchise make considerable strides reaching NBA Finals for first time ever last season losing against eventual champions Toronto Raptors albeit beginning this season strong currently holding second best record only behind Milwaukee Bucks who many pundits favor winning championship due largely them possessing reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo who is considered one most unstoppable forces game has ever seen.
Their Roster
The Los Angeles Clippers are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles, California. The Clippers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Western Conference Pacific Division. The franchise was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, one of three expansion teams to join the NBA that year. The Braves moved from Buffalo, New York to San Diego, California in 1978 and became known as the San Diego Clippers until 1984, when they moved to Los Angeles. Through much of its history, the franchise failed to see significant regular season or playoff success. In 1987, the franchise arrived at a crossroads when then-owner Donald Sterling brought in Larry O’Brien as chief executive officer (CEO), who later introduced basketball operations head Jerry West from the rival Los Angeles Lakers in 1992; Sterling himself was eventually forced out of ownership by NBA Commissioner David Stern due to numerous allegations of racism on his part. Since then, the franchise has been noted for attracting top stars and for its failed efforts to win an NBA championship. As of 2019, the Clippers are one of two franchises located in Los Angeles; along with fellow Western Conference team, the Lakers.
The Houston Rockets
The Houston Rockets have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season. They have the best record in the league and are led by two of the best players in the world in James Harden and Chris Paul. The Rockets also have a great supporting cast and a great coach in Mike D’Antoni. All of these factors make the Houston Rockets the favorite to win the NBA Championship.
Their Record
The Houston Rockets are an American professional basketball team based in Houston, Texas. The Rockets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA), as a member of the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division. The team plays its home games at the Toyota Center, located in downtown Houston. The Rockets have won two NBA championships and four Western Conference titles. The team was established as the San Diego Rockets, an expansion team originally based in San Diego, in 1967. In 1971, the Rockets moved to Houston.
The Rockets won only 15 games in their debut season as a franchise in 1967. In the 1968 NBA draft, the Rockets, picking first overall, selected power forward Elvin Hayes, who would lead the team to its first playoff appearance in his rookie season. The Rockets did not finish a season with a winning record until the 1976–77 season when they traded for center Moses Malone. Malone went on to win the NBA Most Valuable Player award twice and led Houston to the conference finals in his first year with the team. He also led the Rockets to the NBA Finals in 1981 where they were defeated by the Boston Celtics.[4][5] In 1984, as Malone delivered another MVP performance and led them to acquire All-Star forward Ralph Sampson (#1 pick 1983 Draft), chokehold expert and head coach Bill Fitch was replaced by fellow Coll-ege of William & Mary alumni Don Chaney as head coach.[6] Chaney would take them to more conference finals appearances during his tenure but could not get over that last hump against either of Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls (twice) or Hakeem Olajuwon’s Orlando Magic teams (twice). After Chaney’s second conference finals appearance with Sampson & Co., he would be named Coach of t he Year for leading them there while also ushering out some other notable players such as Robert Reid; while also acquiring Clyde Drexler prior to their back-to-back Finals appearances in ’94 & ’95.[7][8] Competing against Julius Erving’s Philadelphia 76ers, Olajuwon’s upstart Magic squad which had future Hall of Fame point guard Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway; as well as Jordan’s second three-peat dynasty Bulls squad (fresh off winning 72 regular season games), Malone & Drexler couldn’t quite get it done against any of those squads as they all fell short during those postseasons.[9][10][11]
Following disappointing early playoff exits in 1996 (swept by Shaquille O’Neal’s Los Angeles Lakers) and 1997 (eliminated by Karl Malone & John Stockton’s Utah Jazz), Sampson was traded to Golden State for small forward Scottie Pippen just prior to training camp for what turned out to be Sampson’s final NBA season; Pippen would play only one injury-plagued season for Houston before being dealt back to Portland.[12]

They are currently coached by Nick Nurse and are owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. The Raptors president is Masai Ujiri and CCM is their general manager.
The team’s origins lie in an expansion bid made by real estate developer Bruce Livingson and an ownership group including former NBA player Lenny Wilkens, which was approved by the NBA Board of Governors on April 26, 1994 on a 22-20 vote with two abstentions, defeating an alternative bid from Michael Heisley and George Gund III that had focused on bringing an NBA team to Minneapolis–Saint Paul; it was also further confirmation that Vancouver would be granted an NBA franchise as part of a previous agreement between Stern and Vancouver Grizzlies owner Alan Cohen to add four expansion teams (including Vancouver) over three years beginning with the 1995–96 season.

Originally based in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Jazz were one of the least successful teams in NBA history. In 2002, the franchise relocated to Salt Lake City after 19 seasons in New Orleans.
The Utah Jazz have reached nine NBA Finals appearances: twice when they were still based in New Orleans (in 1997 and 1998), and seven more times since relocating to Salt Lake City (in 2000, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012).
