Wilson is followed by Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who will earn an estimated $40 million this year. As the NFL’s highest-paid player, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will earn an average of $42 million per year over the next four years, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal includes a signing bonus of $66 million and is fully guaranteed, making Prescott the first NFL player to average more than $40 million per year.
In addition to his salary, Prescott will also receive a guaranteed $5 million roster bonus each year, as well as annual workout and Pro Bowl bonuses.
The total value of the contract is $160 million, with a maximum value of $164 million if Prescott meets certain incentives.
